In this five-day course, to be held in the CNR-IPSP laboratories in Torino (Italy), the basic principles of geminivirus diagnosis will be addressed by a combination of lectures, demonstration and hands-on training.
Topics include: tissue-printing hybridization, dot-blot hybridization, preparation of non-radioactive probes, rapid sample extraction.
After this course participants should have sufficient knowledge to introduce routine diagnostics of geminiviruses in their own laboratory.
