In this 1 week course the basic principles of methods used to conduct phylogenetic analysis of enterovirus genomes will be addressed by a combination of lectures, demonstration and hands-on training. Participants will perform all required analysis procedures using different bioinformatics tools. Topics included: Selection of genomic regions used for phylogenetic analysis – Selection of relevant sequences in public database to be included in the analysis – Search for recombination events
